Its funny that the people I am offended by or the people who hurt me are the ones that say something that humbles me..Haha, God so uses the broken to lead the broken. We are one.

Crosses my Mind

I’m tired of trying to be accepted by everyone. I guess thats where pleasing everyone fails. I want to assume and believe that the people who genuinely love me and accept me will be there for me.

No matter what I look like, how I am, or how I worship, theyre there.

I have to stop putting so much hope in my relationships that I cherish the most.

It can’t just be a one way relationships.

It all just leads to a lot of pain and more broke relationships.

In the end, it only matters what You say and see, Jesus.

Today was just a good day. JESUS IS SO NICE HAHA. So considerate. He’s seriously the best. My cup is overflowing! I am so thankful for the people in my life. To think God has placed them in my life for a purpose and that we all get to run together as a body—AMAZING. Such an honor. (Speaking of being ONE,  I want to post another blog soon!)

But! Let me just say, life with Jesus is nothing without intimacy. We can’t rely on just the prayer meetings laid out for us in church..His presence is able to fall just as heavy in your room. He wants to be with us!!!

Scripture

Just a short and sweet post to share what’s been going on. Sorry its been a while since I updated, but I just wanted to say that, the Word has never been so refreshing and convicting in my life, than it currently is! Before, I always saw reading the Word as work and whenever I did, the words hit a wall in my heart and fell to the ground. Now! My life and heart has shifted for the better and reading Scripture is like drinking from the most reviving waters. So much Life. Its all really exciting God has been graciously leading me into places of Scripture and it has all been so aligned with everything happening in my life. He speaks to you through His very own word, guys!

Haha I was searching for a specific verse that a sister shared with me the other day, but I couldn’t seem to find it..and when I went on biblegateway, ironically, this was the verse of the day:

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12

A New Season

Sorry its been a while..

I am going to keep this one short, because currently I am still trying to figure some things out in my heart. But I can say that I have just walked into a new season with the Lord..and as I am chewing on what life has been like for the past couple of weeks, I’m beginning to see the Lord tear down EVERYTHING that I have put on a pedestal above God–people,ideas,thoughts, etc.

The Lord is shining light over the things I have kept hidden in my heart or areas I have not discovered.

Learning a lot about myself.
